“Should I send my child for tuition?”
It’s a question many parents wrestle with.
But instead of asking should or should not, maybe the real question is:

Are you hoping to support your child because they’re struggling in school?
Do you want guidance from professionals who know how to break concepts down?
Or is your child already thriving, and you’re simply looking to reinforce learning at home?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer.
Some parents have the time, patience, and knowledge to guide their children through learning. Others find that having an educator alongside them provides structure, expertise, and a space where their child can grow independently.
The three main groups of parents we mainly worked with:
1️⃣ Parents who are unsure how to teach their child: They may be fluent in English, but not familiar with how reading develops. Foundational skills like phonemic awareness, decoding, or comprehension can feel like a mystery. After all, reading isn’t just about knowing letter sounds.
2️⃣ Parents who want more detailed support for their Primary school child: Their child may speak well, but writing is a whole different skill. They want composition support, clarity in feedback, and someone who can help their child express themselves more confidently on paper.
3️⃣ Parents who want to reclaim quality time: They value revision and consistency but also want to spend their evenings and weekends bonding with their children—not battling over worksheets.
💡 After all, if you choose an extra learning centre for your child, it should feel like an extension of your child’s team—a place that offers support, not stress.
